About Us

Founded in 2018 by music manager Christine Hufenbecher and audio engineer Kenny Moran, Los Angeles based Mobile Sessions is a unique remote audio recording and production studio, built into a custom-designed 30ft RV. The idea was inspired by our every-day experience with the music creative community and the world of studio and live sound recording over the past 20 years.

One facet of Mobile Sessions is the capability of remote music recording. Imagine songwriting, recording, producing or mixing in unconventional, off the grid locations! For $175/hour the vehicle, which comes with a driver and professional recording engineer and equipped with its own power, high-end recording gear, and fully sound-proofed rooms, has the ability of taking recording sessions to any drivable destination, from oceanfront in Malibu to the vast plains of the Mojave desert. The studio has driven to clients' houses, running lines and mics into the house to record artists and mix records in the comfort of their own home. The same can be done in any venue or rehearsal studio.

In the summer of 2022 we partnered with Dynaudio and Dolby Atmos to become the first certified mobile Atmos studio in the country to allow clients to produce and mix in Atmos! The rate to book the studio for Atmos work is $250/hour.

The other facet of Mobile Sessions is geared towards the producers of audio-visual content and live music. Our studio is fully equipped to handle high quality concert recordings from small bands to large orchestras, with the capability of recording up to 128 audio channels in any DAW. We have partnered with video production companies to produce livestreams and live music productions at various indoor and outdoor locations.  We can stream broadcast quality feeds straight to the brand’s or artist’s social media (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo Live) and allow viewers to engage live.

On the experiential brand marketing side, we can convert into a branded mobile lounge and fun engagement space to interact with talent and audience and showcase a brand’s products and services. There’s simply nothing else like this out there!
